This episode:

A lawsuit from a drunk driver who hit now-Attorney DeMonica Gladney propelled her to enter the law. She prayed during law school that the right legal opportunity would come to her and later got a call from Exxon Mobil Corporation about an application that she did not send! At that time, she had committed to serving as a Briefing Attorney for the Texas Fourteenth Court of Appeals in Houston, Texas and was unable to take the opportunity. However, Exxon was open to reviewing her updated resume. She later discovered that a professor recommended her for the job at Exxon. Upon completing her year as a Briefing Attorney, she went to Exxon where she has been for twenty-five years.

In addition to working as a commercial lawyer, Attorney Gladney is an inspirational speaker, author, and minister.
